Nä, almbågen är tyngre. Den var lite tyngre än idegransbågen först men har nu efter ca 100 pilar sjunkit lite i tyngd och har en liten komressionsskada. Men det var mitt första försök att bygga båge så. Den har hornplattor i nockarna ovanpå hickoryn. De syns inte på bilden.

själv blir det ca 27-28" till mungipa

det är den till vänster på bilden som är 65 pund antar? jag med tanke på att den inte har hornnockar

smide lite pilspetsar 2009 lägger upp bilder på dom i morrn så får ni se en av dom är rätt lååååång ;)

Jag drar 30" vid tavelskytte och när jag började med tyngre bågar drog jag 36" <i>in the bow</i>. Då höll jag fortfarande bågarmen ganska rak, men när jag ökade dragvikt så ökar också riskerna för att råka bräcka armbågen åt fel håll och att få tryckskador på benen i armbågen. Därför har jag ändrat ställning så att jag håller bågarmen lätt böjd vilket istället innebär mer belastning på muskler och senor. Dessutom komprimeras mina skuldror ihop lite, så nu blir det bara 34-35" om bågen är på mer än 100 lbs.

Om jag och Totte ska dra som de gör i england så blir det tvunget att ta till 40". Men om vi står och drar i mungipan är det typ 30-32" som gäller.

Är det vanliga fält/bulletspetsar på pilarna?
Jag har några oanvända 1/2" korta bodkins från diyarchery.co.uk liggandes till ingen nytta.
