Båda är mycket vanliga, slisarna är snarare regel än undantag när det gäller beridna i alla fall. Spetsarna och förekommer kanske främst från 1300-talet och framåt, se tex denna [url="http://www.kfki.hu/~arthp/html/m/memling/3mature1/17rein11.html"]målning[/url] av Hans Memling.

På några andra bilder ser man att brynjorna är ungefär knälånga, men finns det några andra fynd/beskrivningar/bilder som bekräftar det?
Om brynjan når ner över knäna (inte en sån brynja som på bilderna, utan en vanlig "hängande") borde den väl bli ganska otymplig att röra sig i, fast det kanske går att lösa om man "öppnar upp" brynjan lite på den nedersta delen?
