Men det är ganska enkelt att när du haft den ute i blött väder, eller varit mkt svettig, så häng upp brynjan ordentligt så att den får luftas och torkas snabbt. Då rostar den som aldrig.

De fjäderstålringar jag använde till min brynja var typ blånerade från början, därmed har de ett rostskydd, det är endast öppningen och eventuella avskavningar som rostar på den. Min brynja har klarat sig bra utan direkt skötsel, lite rost blir det men inte så det stör (förutom att man kan finna små spår av rött på vita kläder) och ingen som jag sett som äter på brynjan utan mest som ligger som ett skyddande lager. Försök hålla din brynja torr och torka den om den blir blöt...

Om brynjan rostar (som den kommer att göra förr eller senare) så kan du lägga den i ett tråg med sand och skaka runt den så att rosten lossnar. Brynjan blir en smula dammig, men hellre det än geggig av olja.

Är det bara att låta den vara, borde jag olja in den? Med vad i så fall?
