Efter att ha kollat igenom filmtipsen tänke jag att vi kan lista vår medeltida favoritmusik. vilka är de bästa/sämst skivorna?

Just nu drömmer jag mig bort till Azam Alis, Portals of Grace. Helt underbar musik, azam är iran/indisk/amerikan som sjunger som en ängel.
Pro musica antiqua från Oslo är också helt underbara.

Vox Vulgaris är en svensk grupp som gjort en dunderbra skiva där i stort sett alla låtar är bra. Stilen är fartfylld senmedeltida musik.

De sämsta skivorna är enligt mig de tyska medeltidsgrupperna som numera vräker på en massa synthar i varenda låt så fort de spelar in en skiva i studion. Corvus Corax, Saltatio Mortis osv. Men så är ju tyskarna kända för sin dåliga smak i det mesta.

Jag har också via www.cdon.com hittat CD:n "Den medeltida balladen" men ännu inte haft råd att köpa den. Jag har dock lånat den via biblioteket och det kanske inte är det ljuvligaste man kan lyssna på men definitivt en guldkälla om man vill lära sig det som kallas medeltida ballader.

Som sagt medeltida folkmusik finns nog inte kvar du far spara via annan musik, men Arbeaus dans skiva som han tecknade ner 1580-talet om sin egen ungdom pekar i ratt riktning.

Arbeau var en prast som tecknade ner danser och musik fran frankrike. Den gamla slagdangan tourdion kommer darifran om jag inte missminner mig. dar har du defenitivt lite "folkligare" danser och musik nedtecknat, skivan borde finnas lite varstans.

Manga texter och teman kan finnas kvar men melodierna ar andrade. Tex gammla polskor fran 17, 16 hundra talet som gors om till vals eller dylikt. Kan saga att raven raskar finns i annan tapp ning fran 1600-talet. Danslekar med improvisationsmoment ar gammla och visan vava vad mam har gamla anor men medeltid tors man ju inte lova.
