Tja, på ett ungefär. Jag menar 1300-tals-väskan som är avtecknad längst ner. Dock är deras rekonstruktion inte det minsta lik fyndet. Den är konstruerad på ett helt annat och ganska speciellt sätt.

Angående väskan från Konstanz: Från de fyndritningar jag har kan man inte avgöra hur väskan är konstruerad. Den tolkning Mensch im Mittelalter gör är väl lika bra som någon annan. Fast de kan ju ha tillgång till mer information om den än vad jag har som inte kan tyska.

Tolkningen av Konstanz-väskan har en konstruktion som är vanlig i alla fall under 1400-talet, och London-väskan har en form och ett utseende som liknar många bilder från mitten av 1300-talet, så jag tycker att du mycket väl kan kombinera dem till en egen variant.

Tänk på att inte göra din väska för stor, som de flesta återskapare. Medeltidens människor fick inte plats med plånbok, kamera och mobiltelefon i sina bältesväskor.

Det finns uppritningar på läderväskor som borde passa i tid i "Dress accessories" s.351 och "Helgeandsholmen" s 237. Fast jag är osäker på om den från Helgeandsholmen är en bältesväska. Den är aldeles för stor.

Halvor: Vad menar du med julgransväskor?

Det finns en notis i Stockholms tankebok från 1492 om att en man stal en bältesväska innehållande silverskedar, guldringar och mynt. Så det finns alltså de som hade med sig skedar i alla fall.
