Proportionerna mellan en vuxenfot och en barnfot skiljer sig avsevärt åt. Det gör även vuxnas fötter, breda/smala, hör eller låg vrist etc.

De större storlekarna blir ofta för stora, en tumregel är att "dra" av en stolek över 46-47, men det stämmer inte alla gånger, ta inte detta bokstavligt.

Vad gäller barnskor eller mindre vuxenskor så tänk på att det är mycket svårare att vända en liten sko än en stor, så det är inget nybörjarprojekt.

Så till sist mitt svar på frågan, nej, skalan håller inte. Men har ni sytt några skor är det rätt så enkelt att anpassa mönstren efter den blivande vandrarens fötter.

När vi hade en fungerande sula mätte vi dess omkrets och kollade den mot Skobokenmönstrets omkrets och minskade ovanlädermönstret. Där modifierade vi inte alls, men det kunde nog varit bra att öka bredden lite här också. Eftersom älgskinn, som vi använde, är rätt så stretchigt gick det bra, men ett hårdare läder kunde blivit mer komplicerat.

Innan vi skar ut i skinn gjorde vi en testsko i tältkanvas (går bra med vad som helst som är stelt nog) och plågade det stackars barnet med att prova den på henne (hon hatar att prova saker just nu).

De kunde ha varit lite bredare i ovanlädret, nu blev de lite trånga på höjden, men de funkade.
