Var faktiskt inne på SidenCarlson idag. Dom har jättevackra saker, men det är som sagt väldigt dyrt.

Annars kan jag som sagt rekommendera Olssons. Det ligger ett på Sveavägen (korsningen Apelbergsgatan) och ett precis i närheten på G:a Brogatan (korsningen Målargatan). Kombinerat med SidenCarlson kan du göra tre tygaffärer på mindre än tre minuters gångavstånd (ja, jag bor precis där och det är inte så bra för min ekonomi)...

Kan dock rekommendera Sundbybergs Textilcentrum (som vanligt) i STHLM som har fantastiska tyger och dessutom ger ordentligt låga priser till lajvare/re-enactare. Har för mig att dom har 1500-tals tyger i form av brokad och mönstrade tyger, men jag är inte riktigt säker. Hör och fråga!

Annars är det väl vanliga tygaffärer som gäller. Olssons här i STHLM har ibland en del tyger som ser bra ut och har du massor med cash så rekommenderas Sidencarlson (osäker på stavningen) på Drottninggatan (mellan Kungsgatan och Apelbergsgatan). Helt fantastiskt vackra tyger, men dyrt som rackarns!

Annars kan jag rekommendera boken "Costume and fashion 3:1, The Tudors 1485-1547" av Norris, Herbert. Den finns att fjärrlåna från Umeå bibliotek. Har bra genomgångar (tycket jag, men dom som är mer "period" än vad jag är kanske tycker något helt annat) och översikt över början och mitten av 1500-talet.
