Vad jag dock vet är att under Dackeupproret stod det ett bättre slag i Kisa i september 1542. En fänika legosoldater tillintetgjordes av Dackes trupper... Kisa ligger fyra mil norr om Odensvi. Under januari 1543 stod det slag i Huljeskogen vid Mjölby och vid sjön Hjorten. Någon kilometer från sjön med svärdet ska det ha stått ett slag vid Kulla herrgård(vintern 1543?). Gustav Vasa marscherade ner 5000 legosoldater från linköping mot Kalmar. I marschvägen ligger lilla Odensvi...

Skulle tro att det är klingans utformning som avgör huruvida det är ett tidigare svärd. Längd och bredd på ränna eller avsaknad av dylik varierar ju ganska friskt och ger en ganska tydlig vink om när och var ett vapen kan ha använts. Om man kikar på datering av runda knappar på svärd ser man rätt snabbt att typer som är vanligast under 12-1300-talen förekommer ganska ofta under 1400-talet också. Många varianter överlappar ju varandra rent stilmässigt också.
