Kollade just i "Ur textilkonstens historia" //Geijer. Hon talar om att Hertig Johan, när han skulle framföra sin brors Eriks frieri till drottning Elisabeth hade med sig ryor till England. Dessa antyds att det kunde ha liknat bunden rosengång.... frågan är bara om antydning kom på 1500-talet eller på 1960-talet... svårt att veta.

Det ska finnas ett föremål från faraonen Tutanchamons grav i rosengång. Jag har för mig att det var något slags klädesplagg i motsatstrampad rosengång. Ska fråga min vävlärare när hon kommer tillbaks från Kina.
